Medieval manuscript image of groups of nimbed angels, some holding objects, including staff with cross-inscribed banner, scourge, scrolls, sceptre and globe, flanking fourteen nimbed cherubim, supporting mandorla enclosing Virgin Mary and Christ, both nimbed and emanating rays, with rays extending downward from their hands.
