fæt, n.n: a vessel or container, mainly for fluids. (FAT / ˈfæt)

Gilt-copper spouted vessel, still shiny in some places but quite tarnished in others; the handle is formed like a twisted snake, the spout like a winged quadruped, and the sides are decorated with bird and animal designs.
